Virginia Beach is centrally located, so it is not difficult to travel there by car.

From the North and South:

It is advisable to travel on Intestates 85 or 95 when you are driving to Virginia Beach from the North or South.

U.S. Route 17 and 13 are also recommended to drivers departing from the North or South, and they cross the famous and scenic Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel.

Both Interstate 85 and 95, along with U.S. Routes 17 and 13 intersect with Interstate 64. Interstate 64 connects to Instate 264, which will take you right to the oceanfront of Virginia Beach.

From West:

Visitors departing from the West can take Interstate 64, U.S. 460, or U.S. 58 to get to Virginia Beach.
